- On every Sunday morning AnnaDasoha team and LCB Greater Kormangala serve hot breakfast to 800 odd outpatients and attenders of patients in NIMHANS and Indira Gandhi Hospital for child health. We donated to this program on four Sundays.

- RELEIVING HUNGER
- We have donated Rice bags and other provisions , donated towards mid day meals in various orphanages like Abhayashrama,Vatsalya Makkala Mandira , National council for women, Mamatha sidhu mandira, Sipani seava sadana Yahaswini mahila okkuta, Thimmarayaswamy temple, Ramakrishnapura temple etc Total amount donated towards mid day meals Rs 1, 19,600 ( One lakh nineteen thousand six hundred )
MOBILE MEDICAL UNIT (MMU)
The Lions Club of BTM NIGHTINGALE has started a Free mobile diabetic clinic to take diabetes diagnosis and treatment to peoples homes. This project intends to give diabetic care to the community's underserved populations, such as the homeless & elderly, and also opportunity for them to visit with the doctor about other health concerns. A fully equipped van, portable canopy, needed infrastructure, testing equipment's and medicines are all included in the mobile clinic. Every day, a doctor, a technician and tw nurses work in this clinic. Aside from that, clu members assist with registration, data entry, and medication dispensing. Members of the group who are trained doctors also contributes to the diagnosis. On any given day 120 to 150 persons are examined and provided the necessary medication for a month.
- Our members donated liberally towards the flood relief in Kerala and Madikeri. In August we donated 165 blankets to the District for its relief work in Kerala. We donated 100 blankets, 60 sweaters, 124 packs of baby food, 50 women sweaters, sanitary napkins, diapers, biscuits all worth Rs 84,000 to the relief work in Madikeri . Dr Hema , our treasurer donated medicines and other materials worth Rs 30,000 to the relief camp at Madikeri.

- Dr Hema and Kum Prathyusha worked in the relief camps in Madikeri, Flight lieutenant Kim Sindhu was on rescue work air lifting many victims, Jayanagar MLA Smt Sowmya Reddy went along with 12 truck loads of relief materials to the flood hit areas in Madikeri.

- On the day of the District Cabinet presentation we donated Rs1,00,000 (One lakh) to Abhayashrama, an orphanage in Wilson Garden.
- We installed a water boiler which uses leaf pellets as fuel, in PHC in Tavarekere . Cost Rs 20,000
- We donated Rs 25,000 and co ordinated with Jayadeva hospital to wave off Additional 1 lakh operation and hospital charges of sri Venkatesh.Total benefit Rs 1,25,000
- Kum Selvi a 11 months old baby was operated for heart problem in jayadeva Hospital. We helped her get Rs 78,000 from MLA fund towards her hospital expenses.
- We have co ordinated with govt and social workers to help widows and senior citizens get pensions amounting to Rs 8,00,000.
- We donated Rs 25,000 and raised Rs 75,000 from City Mayor and Chief Minister’s fund and totally Rs 1,00,000 was given towards hospital expenses of Smt Komala who suffered head injury and was operated in Jayshree Hospital
- We coordinated with ‘Gaurdians of Angels “and helped Kum anusha , an orphan girl resident of Abhayashrama get a scholarship of Rs 25,000.
- SOMETHING NEW SOMETHING DIFFERENT
- We thought out of the box to do something new and something different in our activities.We celebrated “world breast feeding day“ in PHC in Tavarekere. Mom to be sand young mothers were explained about the importance of breast feeding infants. Infant care materials , cradles were distributed . Food was arranged for all Amount spent Rs 18000.
- We offered our efforts ‘ Shramadhan”to implement SwachaBharath Abhiyan by cleaning the play ground in abhayashrama.
- We conducted ‘Sreemanta’to around 250 expecting women from BPL families in tavarekere. Its the dream of every expecting women to be blessed and we made this happen. we distributed hampers with sarees, fruit flowers , bangles etc to these women . Lunch was arranged. Amount spent Rs 1,25,000 We conducted awareness talks to sensitise public to the problems faced by Transpersons where Sana , a transperson spoke on the issue.
- We donated bird feeders to be put up in the parks to ensure the increase of bird population in the parks . Amount spent Rs 17000
- We participated in walkathons and marathons for different social causes like world , heart day, in support of children on Insulin, children living with HIV, Save the lake, Total amount spent Rs 1,60,000 ( One lakh sixty thousand)
- BLOOD DONATION
- We have conducted 9 blood donation camps so far
- In August in BMS College of Engineering 195 units collected
- In September in Sri Jayachamarajendra institute of Technology 72units and UVCE 128 units
- In October in Ganesha pendal in Kormangala 45 units and in Kempegowda Dental college 61units
- In November in Community centre college 71 units and TCS Company in Electronic city 136 units
- In December in MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology 110 units and in Our school CAMPS association 121 units
- In February in VVPuram Degree college 81 units
- In March in Bangalore Institute of Technology 325 units
- In April in Bangalore Institute of Dental science 80 units
- Totally 1425 units collected this Lionistic year
- On 25th July we conducted a Cervical cancer screening camp for PLHIV women in Sumanahalli Support center. Doctors from Family Planning Association of India conducted the camp 42 were screened, 5 PAP smears done. Amount spent Rs 13,500.
- On 18th August we conducted a cancer screening camp in Soundarya school . Doctors from KIDWAI conducted the camp. 96 were screened. Amount spent Rs 18,000.
- On 15th October we conducted a Cervical cancer screening camp for PLHIV women in RMC Yard along with Karnataka Network for people with AIDS.Doctors from Family Planning Association of India conducted the camp 36 were screened, 13 PAP smears done. Amount spent Rs 19,000.
- On 15th December we conducted a Cervical cancer screening camp for students of VIDYA centre in MALI foundation.Doctors from Family Planning Association of India conducted the camp 26 were screened, 2 PAP smears done. Amount spent Rs 15,600.

- We donated Provisions, walking aids, artificial leg worth Rs 12,000 to residents of Sipani Seva Sadan in Adisonatti village.
- We donated packets of fruit to all the patients in KIDWAI Children’s ward. Amount spent Rs 10000.
- Total amount and services donated worth Rs 13,04,440.( Thirteen lakh four thousand four hundred and forty)
- We have donated books, montessori material, clothes, sweaters, play items, fruits, biscuits, colouring materials, on many occasions like Children’s day, World service day, birthdays and other celebrations mainly to free day care centres run by Mamatha Shishu Mandir in Wilson Garden and National council for Women in Siddapura. We aslo donated yoga mats, books, fruit and biscuits to the children of daily wagers in ST Bed area.

AIM TO CHILDREN
- On 11th August we conducted a naturopathy camp for general health , diabetes and cardiac problems in Kormangala. 64 screened Amount spent Rs 18,000
- On 25th August we conducted a health camp for general health , diabetes and cardiac and dental problems in Siddapura . Doctors from BBMP hospital in Wilson garden and dentists from BIDS hospital conducted the camp .152 were screened for general health, 56 for diabetes, 42 for BP and 45 for dental problems. Amount spent Rs 28,000
- On 2nd December we conducted a health camp in Suddaguntepalya for general health , diabetes and cardiac and dental problems and cancer screening. Doctors from tathaghat, Srinivasa health care, dentists from BIDS hospital and doctors from KIDWAI conducted the camp .Total benefited 800. Amount spent Rs 1,50,000.
- On 9th December we conducted a health camp in Gudichetlu village as a part of our inter district twinning with Lions club of Hosur. General health , diabetes and cardiac problems were treated.Doctors from Cauvery hospital in Hosur conducted the camp .Total benefited 487. Amount spent Rs 1,25,000. Total benefited 1614
- Total Amount spent Rs 3,21,000(Three lakh twenty one thousand)
- Tailoring classes started in Ambedkar bhavan in 2011.Our club co ordinated with the government and has facilitated the implementation of free tailoring classes to women from BPL families. 40 sewing machines worth 2 lakh each were put up and classes continue since then.
- Every year 300 women are trained in batches of three months each. They are taught tailoring, embroidery, crochet. Placement is also fecilitated.The trainees are given a stipend of Rs 1200 per month. The amount spent every year on this project is Rs 8,10,000 ( eight lakh ten thousand )
- This year our club started another women empowerment project . We adopted the free beautician training program in Navachetana Swadhar grub which is a short home for destitute women. The 10 month course was inaugurated in July 2018. Trainer renumeration and material required for training are provided by our club.
- Amount spent this year till date Rs 1,04,350.
